Before reading Percy Jackson, I’d been exposed to greek myths and the children’s version of The Canterbury Tales, but for some reason this book series changed the way I look at literature.

“If Books Were Movies” Tag

I saw this tag a long time ago (can’t remember where), and basically I’m going to list five books I really love that I wish were either a movie or a tv series. It sounds like an easy decision, but I promise you it’s extremely excruciating. I’m basically condemning some of my favorite books to destruction by moving picture because we all know the book is always better than the movie, (except the bloody Maze Runner series!!!)

It’s that time of year again people…time to choose curriculum!

When the curriculum hunt begins every year, I feel like a kid in a candy shop. Then I get frustrated by the deluge of information, and angry that no one is answering the questions I want answered. After that, I feel resigned to go with my first choices. But finally I have a breakthrough, I find what I want and feel ecstatic to begin the new year.
